Parents' Forum

At St Mary and St Thomas we have a Parent Forum. This group is made up of one or more parents from each class and meets every term. As a class representative, we ask you to chat to other parents in your child’s class in order to help us build a picture of what is going well in school and what we could be doing better or differently. At the termly meeting representatives meet with the head teacher to share the views of our families and to discuss school issues. Some examples of topics discussed are:

  • The Barton Close closure
  • Christmas Arrangements
  • Parent Insight Mornings
  • Enterprise Week
  • Sports Day

It is important that we make sure that our arrangements meet the needs of our families. If you are interested in becoming a parent representative for your child’s class, please contact the head teacher.

If you have any ideas, would like to discuss anything or would like to add an item to the Parents' Forum agenda, you can contact Mrs Lewis on 01744 734320 or email the school at stmarythomas@three-saints.org.uk

A copy of the minutes from the meetings can be found in the downloads section on this page.
