Our School's Mission Statement

In September 2016, we launched our new mission statement which was created through consultation with children, staff and parents at St Mary & St Thomas. This was reviewed in 2021 with all stakeholders but remains the same.

Believe, Achieve, Shine
Believe in ourselves, each other and God;
Achieve in all we do;
Shine everyday!

As part of the review, we did identify the following scripture which illustrates our mission statement:

Don't hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.

Matthew 5:16

We use our Christian values:

  • Hope
  • Compassion
  • Thankfulness
  • Forgiveness
  • Joy
  • Perseverance

to enable us to live out our school mission: Believe, Achieve Shine.
